ABOUT US:
Project ECHO (Entrepreneurial Concepts Hands On!) is an education nonprofit founded in 1996, dedicated to empowering middle and high school students with entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Our project-based programs culminate in the exhilarating Teen Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition in Los Angeles, gathering over 500 students, teachers, and supporters each year.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide fundraising initiatives and secure working capital.
Connect us with potential investors and sponsors through your professional network.
Recruit executive volunteers to serve as judges at our competitions along with featured guest speakers.
Participate in quarterly meetings and collaborative strategy sessions.
Work with our executive team to refine business strategies and ideate future programmatic offerings.
Monitor financial milestones and address challenges.
Assist in crafting pitch materials and investor presentations.
Build relationships with stakeholders to create career opportunities for students.
Champion our mission and values in providing educational opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Passion for entrepreneurship, education and student success.
Strong fundraising abilities and a desire to engage the Fortune 500 community, and beyond.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience on a board of directors is a plus, but not necessary.
