TUSD Future Entrepreneurs Alumni
Registration Portal for the
Teen Entrepreneurs' Business Plan Competition

Open to all alumni of the 2025 TUSD Future Entrepreneurs Internship

Congratulations, TUSD Future Entrepreneurs Interns!
Having successfully completed the Project ECHO Summer Program, you are now invited to take the next exciting step: competing in the May 31 Project ECHO Teen Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition.

Future Entrepreneurs interested in competing will be required to continue working with their teams in an effort to complete a business plan and fine tune their presentations. These next steps will be outlined at the informational Zoom scheduled for Thursday, January 22 at 7pm. It's anticipated that team members will need to commit about 5-10 hours to be competition-ready.

To learn more about the competition expectations, timeline, and next steps, students must complete the Student Registration Form. An invitation to join the Zoom will be emailed to all registered students. Save the date to attend the Zoom:

Be sure to reach out to your team, and encourage them to register! The entire team is not required to pitch at the Competition, it's ok if it's a smaller team, or if members have switched teams. The only requirement is that participants must have completed the Future Entrepreneurs program.

What to Expect

  • Save the date! Thursday, January 29 at 7:00 PM (PT).

  • Matilda Albano, Project ECHO’s Program Director, will host five 1-hour sessions (tbd) and guide students through the entire process of preparing for the Competition.

  • Sessions will focus on helping teams refine their presentations and provide full instructions for developing their written business plans to Project ECHO standards.

  • Student teams should expect to commit approximately five - ten hours before May 31 to be competition-ready.

  • Teams will not formally meet under the direction of a teacher, and will be required to work independently - holding their teammates accountable for the success of their plan and pitch.

  • As the event approaches, we'll ensure that the teams are informed about what to expect on competition day, and how best to prepare.

  • It's to be anticipated that some teams may have shifted since last year and it has been approved for new teams to have formed from the alumni base of Furute Entrepreneurs. It's also ok for solo entrepreneurs to participate, even if their original team no longer exists.

  • The Teen Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026, at CSU Dominguez Hills. Here is the 2025 Competition Newsletter as a quick refresher of what’s ahead.
