Entrepreneurship and Business Program Coming to BMHS in January 2026!
An After-School Enrichment Program Open to All Grade Levels
Bishop Montgomery is proud to partner with Project ECHO (Entrepreneurial Concepts Hands On!) to introduce an inspiring, real-world entrepreneurship experience to our students! Open to all students interested in business and entrepreneurship, this academic program gives you the chance to step into the role of a business founder or C-suite executive and learn what it takes to develop a real business idea. You’ll work in teams to spot community-based problems worth solving, brainstorm creative solutions, design products or services, and build a full business plan and presentation pitch. Along the way, you’ll develop the skills that colleges and employers love: leadership, teamwork, communication, financial literacy, critical thinking, and the confidence to present your ideas to others.
This is an academic, project-based program that culminates in Project ECHO’s National Teen Entrepreneurs’ Business Plan Competition, where BMHS teams will pitch their start-up concepts to business leaders and compete for cash start-up funds (college scholarships!). Students will not launch their businesses during this program, though resources will be provided for anyone interested in pursuing their idea beyond the classroom.
The Project ECHO Entrepreneurship Club will be offered during 7th period, from February through May, with an exact schedule to be determined.
Interested? Please complete the questionnaire and plan to join the informational Zoom. Completing the questionnaire simply indicates your interest; it does not enroll you in the program, and the registration process will be explained during the informational Zoom. Zoom invitations and links will be sent to the emails provided in the questionnaire.
