Participate in Our Fourth Annual Business Plan Competition
The requirements for participation are:- Teaching the Project ECHO Curriculum for writing a business plan
- Completing a Business Plan and submitting it to Project ECHO by February 11, 2008
- Attendance at the Competition on February 24, 2008
- Presenting the Business Plan at the Competition
- Professional attire
- Mature behavior
- Teacher attendance
- Listening to the other schools present
Project ECHO will provide each participating school with:
- Curriculum for writing a business plan
- Mentors to advise students on writing and presenting business plans
- Guidelines for presentations
- Teacher support
- Expert judges to review and comment on the students’ written business plans
- Panel of business leaders to judge the competition
- Breakfast and lunch on the day of the Competition
- Visual documentation of each team’s presentation
- Written feedback on presentations so the teams can improve in future Competitions
