Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Do you think that your high school could benefit from offering a service/product to the students, faculty and staff? Does your surrounding community have a need that the community is not meeting itself? Does your school currently have a student-run business on campus, but you think it has room for improvement?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, then Project ECHO is the program for you!
Project ECHO provides students the following through the creation of a business plan:
Through participating in the competition, you will obtain a deeper exposure to elements of business practices, build relationships with local business professionals and gain confidence in your presentation and communication skills. The goal of the Business Plan Competition program is to motivate and prepare high school entrepreneurs to start or expand successful profit-making ventures.
